Don’t Underestimate Your Plugins or Scripts on your website

Again, I have to stress:

“Don’t Underestimate Your Plugins or Scripts on your website”

plus all the scripts that you installed. It is a traffic killer.

Let me show you an example on one of my website: http://www.techielobang.com/blog

From the picture, you can see two problems.

The first one that plunge almost to the bottom of the chart is because I installed a script and that script causes the CPU of the server to almost overload and the end results is I got suspended for 1 day.

The second one is recently, a few days ago, that I found out that my website loading is super slow. It takes 1 to 2 minutes to load and that causes traffic to plunge.

So, take my advices:-

  1. Only install scripts that are trustworthy
  2. If you install a script or plugin, monitor your website like an eagle. In case of trouble.
  3. Speed is what everyone is looking for. If your website loads slowly, try to understand why and where.
  4. Finally, the plugin that causes my problem is Odiogo. If you have installed it, checked your website NOW!

That’s all for today. I have exciting things ahead for you guys. Watch out!

PS: I am using WordPress.

I really wanted to do the ‘Race for life’ with my 5yr old son, but because he’s a boy I was told he couldn’t enter -(talk about sex discrimination!!)- So what are some similar alternatives that we could enter? short-distance charity fund raising walks marathons? Preferrably for either cancer, childrens, or humanitarian charities? Thanks
